| Final Fantasy XIII - Coming to XBOX 360 |
|
Posted on July 15th, 2008 |
At E3 this year Square-Enix announced that Final Fantasy XIII, the next installment in the main Final Fantasy series will be coming out not only for the Playstation 3 system but also for the XBOX360. There is a catch, though. FF13 will not be released on the Xbox 360 outside of it’s home country of Japan! The release for the Xbox 360 version is only for the European and American audiences, where XBox 360 is popular. Square-Enix states that they wish to reach a broader audience with this move, allowing more fans to play the title without having to have a PS3 if they do not own one. However, Version XIII will remain playstation 3 exclusive.

| Star Ocean: The Last Hope details |
|
Posted on June 12th, 2008 |
Attention Star Ocean fans! New information has been released for this game! The game, originally said be simply called Star Ocean 4 will now be named Star Ocean: The Last Hope. There is, however, depending on what you prefer, good/bad news. Although it was rumored to be for the Playstation 3, this game will actually be an XBOX 360 title!
Information? Here is some straight from the PR release from Square-Enix:
Science fiction and fantasy meld in this long-awaited continuation of the celebrated RPG series. The year is S.D. 10; in the aftermath of World War III, humanity voyages into the stars in search of a new home…and a second chance.
A prequel that combines sci-fi and fantasy elements, spanning multiple planets and the vastness of space itself to recount the origins of the Star Ocean universe.
Exhilarating combat expands upon the franchise’s famous real-time battle system, including the amazing graphics and visual effects only possible on the Xbox 360.
Featuring breathtaking CG movies by Visual Works, the cutting-edge studio whose previous work includes cut scenes for the acclaimed Final Fantasy RPG series.

| NIS Remakes Rhapsody! |
|
Posted on May 24th, 2008 |
Does anyone remember Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure? A story about Cornet, a girl who wishes to find a fairytale romance with a prince, via the help of her puppet friends? No?! Well, of course, I’m one of the few people to remember this game…
Anyhow, if you missed it the first time, or wish to play it again for old time’s sake, NIS is remaking Marl Oukoku no Ningyou Hime (Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure) for the Nintendo DS! Character designs are set to be redesigned by Kaoru Maruyama.
Marl Oukoku no Ningyou Hime: Tenshi ga kanaderu Ai no Uta for DS will be available in Japan on August 7th for 4,800 yen
For anyone who does not know, as stated above, it is about Cornet enlisting the aid of puppets in order to find her prince charming. It is a SRPG, much like Disgaea or Final Fantasy Tactics. The game is a “Musical Adventure” which means there is a whole lot of vocal tracks and singing in this title, and, if remade completely, the game will take you a whole 5 hours to finish. Sweet.
My conclusion: It will be so cute it will make you sick. “Cornet is my name and I’m a Puppeteer, too! With my puppet friends there’s nothing that I can’t do.”
