Who would have guessed? (All of us, of course.) Atlus has announced another RPG for all of us players to enjoy. Well, that is, if you own an XBOX 360 or plan to get one in the future. Zoids Assault is the title of the latest game in development by the said company.

The story will tell of two superpowers, Guylos Empire and the Republic of Helic, that are in a never ending conflict. These two nations seem to drag just about everyone into their battle as well, including two other nations, Maroll and Jamil. These two latter nations have a mistrust for each other and are overly paranoid, so basically, things don’t look too good at the beginning of this game.

Okay, okay, not much is known about the story, but who cares? You’ll be able to use machines of way! Including, but not limited to: Rockets, Grenades, rifles, machine guns… conventional swords and knives. Ahhh, war is appealing…. in a game, anyway. There will also be a system included by the name of Electromagnetic Pulse System, which is said to be the key to a character’s survival. Exactly what it is, at the moment, is unclear.
