Finally, Something for RPG players with a Playstation 3 to be excited about: X Edge. (Pronounced Cross Edge.] Sure, Final Fantasy XIII, Versus XIII, and Last Remnant are in development, but knowing Square-Enix, who knows when they’ll release the trio of games stateside. But for X Edge, it’s already 70% complete! Not only that, but it features some popular characters from games by companies such as NIS, Namco Bandai, Gust, Capcom, and more!
So, what is it? It’s a turn-based RPG that will allow players to put up to for characters in battle. You can assign skills to buttons, like Triangle, Circle, X, and so forth. Sound like Valkyrie Profile? It seems to to me, but it should be a lot different than that series of games.

When will this game release? It should be in Japan sometime this September and Hopefully a US release date will be in the future.
I hope they release it in the US. I remember that a similar cross over game was never released in the US due to some copyright/publishing issues.
I hope this game comes out, it sounds so cool, concept wise!
